Ingredients:

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ground cumin, paprika, ground turmeric, ground coriander, garam masala, and salt. Add the chicken chunks and mix well to coat. Marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers and grill until fully cooked and slightly charred, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from skewers and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown. Add garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute.
  4. Combine and Serve: Add the grilled chicken to the skillet with the sauce. Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
