Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz Chinese egg noodles
  • 1/2 lb ground pork or chicken
  • 2 tablespoons sesame paste or tahini
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili oil (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons crushed peanuts (for garnish)
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Chinese egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, cook the ground pork or chicken over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove excess fat if needed.
  3. In a bowl, mix sesame paste, soy sauce, chili oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar to create the sauce.
