Recipe:

  • Dough: 2 cups flour, 1/4 cup oil, 1/2 tsp salt, water
  • Filling: 4 boiled potatoes, 1/2 cup peas, 1 tbsp oil, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp grated ginger, 2 chopped green chilies, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp chili powder, salt, cilantro, lemon juice
  • For Frying: Oil

Instructions:

  1. Dough: Mix flour, salt, and oil. Add water to form a firm dough. Rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Filling: Sauté cumin and mustard seeds in oil. Add ginger, chilies, potatoes, and peas. Mix spices, cilantro, and lemon juice.
  3. Assemble: Roll dough into circles, cut in half, form cones, fill, and seal.
  4. Fry: Deep fry until golden brown. Serve hot with chutney.
